Fracture parameter analysis of flat shells under out-of-plane loading using ordinary state-based peridynamics

چکیده
Abstract The present paper is devoted to numerical investigation on fracture parameters of cracked shells subjected out-of-plane loading using ordinary state-based peridynamics (PD). nonlocal deformation gradient and equivalent domain integral are introduced evaluate parameters. To reduce the surface effect obtain more accurate results, energy method volume correction algorithm considered. Meanwhile, adaptive dynamic relaxation technique employed steady-state solutions. From comparisons between PD results reference solutions, proposed shell model successfully evaluates in both single- mixed-mode conditions.
